# [Plugin: WordPress Mobile Pack] Problems with custom theme

 * Hi! I’m having some issues with creating a custom theme for WP Mobile Pack. I
   used the base theme as a starting point and made some minor edits to some of 
   the PHP files as well (header.php, index.php, footer.php), not just the CSS. 
   Now, after I moved the folder with the theme and started that theme in the admin,
   I get PHP errors when I switch to the mobile theme. Errors like: “Fatal error:
   Cannot redeclare wpmp_theme_init()”.
 * I’m not good with PHP, so I don’t really know what to do. Could anyone help?

 * It sounds like you copied functions.php into your custom theme.
 * Don’t copy all of the files in the base theme into the custom theme. Only copy
   the ones you want to modify.
 * And unless you are fairly proficient in PHP don’t modify or copy functions.php
   as it requires special handling.
