# [Plugin: WordPress Mobile Pack] Remove category from recent posts

 * The homepage of the mobile app displays the most recent posts from all categories.
   Is there a way to eliminate a category from displaying in the most recent posts?
   I’ve been looking at the code for the index.php and I can’t seem to figure it
   out.

 * I know I need to add a condition to the loop to exclude categories from appearing
   in the recent posts. I always have trouble when adding to the loop, but here’s
   what I have so far. It doesn’t work, but I was wondering if anyone knows I am
   heading in the right direction.
