# [Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] Are Thumbnails on Posts Working?

 * I am interested in using this plugin and wanted to know if thumbnails on the 
   posts are working properly. I read the Important Notice on the description page
   of this plugin regarding the security issues and it sounded like the thumbnail
   feature was disabled from the plugin.
 * 1. Are thumbnails working properly?
 * 2. How are the thumbnails created/generated? Is it from the Post Thumbnails feature?

 * Yes. WordPress Popular Posts is currently using the Post Thumbnail feature to
   retrieve your posts’ thumbnail.
 * Previous versions of my plugin used the TimThumb script to create the images 
   but due to a security bug it had I decided to have it removed from my plugin.
   So no worries, you can use my plugin and be sure that your site is safe.
