 * WPP injects a link to …/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popular-posts/style/wpp.
   css in each blog page. What’s the rational behind this link, in particular given
   that wpp.css does not exist?

 * It’s WPP’s stylesheet. Though it doesn’t add any predefined CSS, there you can
   find all elements created by WordPress Popular Posts so you can style them as
   you like.
 * Can you check that the wpp.css file is actually in your _wp-content/plugins/wordpress-
   popular-posts/style/_ directory?

 * Thanks, Héctor, it seems that my wp.css was missing for some reason and caused
   therefore error 404. I added an empty wp.css since I don’t need additional formatting.
