# [Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] Popular post by time range incorrect

 * I’m currently using the time range setting of “last 30 days” according to comments.
   Hence, it should have output the posts which have the most comments for the last
   30 days. However, I’ve posts from half a year ago showing up as popular post.
   Is it a bug or…?
 * I will appreciate it if you can look into this issue.

 * Not a bug, my friend. See, my plugin lists all those posts that have been viewed
   by your readers for the last X days, even those published a year (or more) ago.
   If these posts get enough views, you’ll see them ranking on the list.

 * yes, this confused me too. IMHO it should be the most viewed in the last 30 days.
   Can you add an option for the behavior?
 * What happens is old posts eventually crowd out new discussions. Just one person
   looks at one and it pushes out a hot (recently hot) post.

 * Agree. This has been implemented on WordPress Popular Posts 2.0 and will be released
   to the public soon (hopefully!).
