# [Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] Broken release… do not install – NUKE

 * This is clearly a broken release, users are having issues with the dashboard 
   stats appearing, and also the API key not being recognized with the error: WordPress.
   com Stats needs attention: please enter an API key or disable the plugin.
 * I do not know why wordpress does not revoke this release and remove it from the
   system.
