# [Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] Can't get Stats

 * Can’t get stats tried everything. I am lost w/o them. I just upgraded from a .
   com site and I am very accustom to having them. Can’t get anylitics to work either.
   It’s like working in the dark over here. I never would have upgraded if I knew
   I would have this trouble.

 * Just to confirm, were you trying the WordPress.com Stats plugin?

 * For the WordPress.com Stats plugin to work properly, your theme must have a call
   to `<?php wp_footer(); ?>` at the very bottom right before the `</body>` tag.
   You can usually find the `</body>` tag in the footer.php page in Appearance >
   Editor.
