 * I had been doing some advertising for my site, but last week I stopped all ads
for a while. However, I am still getting referrals in my WP Stats from some of
the sites that I had been advertising on.
 * I’ve checked those sites to see if there may be some other link to my site, but
couldn’t find anything. Is there a reason why I’d still be seeing these referrals?(
I know that Google Analytics will report direct traffic as referrals if a user
originally visited through a referring site. But this doesn’t seem to be that,
because I’m seeing far fewer of these phantom referrals through WP Stats than
   I am through GA.)
