[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] WordPress Stats and API Key Change

    I set up the WordPress stats using my API key to test it out (I am the web site developer). Now I have an API key specifically for the user and when I try to put their API key into the plugin it returns an error saying that I can’t change it because my user name is associated with the stats.

    Is this something in a cookie that can be cleaned out so we can start this from scratch again? Or something on your stats server? Or something in the code I can reset? I don’t want my API key permanently tied to the user’s web site.

    You set yourself up as the owner of that blog, as far as the WordPress.com database is concerned. You need to go to your WordPress.com dashboard, view the blog’s stats page, and scroll to the bottom. There should be a form to help you add the other user.
