# [Plugin: WP Chat] Problem with configuration

 * I’m using WP 3.0.1
    WP-chat – 0.0.2
 * I have started a new blog network , which I haven’t yet informed my all
    friends
   and collegue , only few know it …
 * I have few questions :
 * 1. How to make the chat view able only to registered member (I mean member-only
   chat)?
 * 2. Even a registered-loggedin member is shown as guest ? how to make it to show
   registered as registered with username but not guest ?
 * 3. what is the best configuration to make it a peer to peer chat ?
 * 4. what are the best configuration ?

 * Thanks for putting up the feature request and your application needs. Jaxl IM
   is still in alpha and beta release will allow you to have the following:
 * 1. Auto detect site visitor as registered/guest specific to your site database.
   Appropriately visitor will be marked as guest or logged in.
 * 2. Jaxl IM is currently designed (defaults) to provide group discussion on 3rd
   party web sites. Optionally, site owners can configure Jaxl IM to run as peer-
   to-peer (between visitor and site admin) or group (between site visitors and 
   site admin). Alpha currently doesn’t provide support for peer-to-peer chat between
   your site visitors. (Beta will support this)
 * We have taken your feature requests into consideration. Kindly let us know as
   you find any other use case missing from Jaxl IM widget.

 * Hi time2win,
 * Jaxl IM project is currently under data center migration and alpha-to-beta code
   upgradation. Infact we have right now shutdown the chat widget service till 7th
   Nov, 2010 (sunday)
 * On 7th Nov we will open up our upgraded platform for usage again. New approval
   will happen only after new system upgradation because till then we have decided
   to take the system down completely.
 * We feel sorry for our users who are able to download and register for the widgets
   but unable to try that out instantly. We apologize for such a delay from outside
   which is actually unavoidable because to our surprise Jaxl IM saw far too many
   registrations than we expected in alpha release (that too only via a wordpress
   plugin). Also we have resource crunch (a small team) working to get the things
   right before final beta release in mid-december.
