 * Hi all,
 * I love using the WP-Cumulus tag cloud! I am in the middle of optimizing my wordpress
   blog for speed, as Google has just announced they are taking site speed into
   account for their ranking algorithm.
 * At the moment I’m not on a dedicated server, and I have seen that many js files
   on my site are creating a bottleneck in site loading speed. I’m in the process
   of calling externally hosted js files on better servers.
 * I see that the swfobject.js file is hosted by Google Code here:
    [http://swfobject.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/swfobject/swfobject.js](http://swfobject.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/swfobject/swfobject.js)
 * However, Google’s version is 2.2, and when I try calling that js file instead
   of the one included with the WP-Cumulus plugin, the cloud refuses to load, and
   I get the standard “you need flash 9 or higher error”
 * I was wondering if Roy or someone else can shed some light on using the v2.2
   on Google’s server, and what code changes I need to make in order to get it working.
   Alternatively, if someone could point me to a publicly hosted version of the
   one included with the plugin.
 * Thanks!

 * Moving to the 2.x branch of SWFObject is one of the things that we’re planning
   for version 2.0 of WP-Cumulus. Unfortunately, this new version have been delayed
   quite a bit, and it will still take a while for it to be released. It will be
   much, much lighter, with the Flash movie now being tiny.
 * As a quick fix, you could use the compatibility mode, which uses a simple object
   tag to embed and does not require SWFObject.

 * Thanks Roy! Good work with the plugin… I have really liked using it so far, as
   its minimal but slick at the same time.
