I’ve actually modified the plugin myself to add this ability. Let me know if you’d like the code, it’d be great if it was included in updates to the plugin. When I view the source code, it shows empty alt tags but there is no way in the plugin to state an alt tag for each of the images. I was planning on syncing the changes from the latest version of the plugin before sending it to you though. If you need it urgently I can send it straight away. I was hoping to hear from the author of the plugin so that the changes could be incorporated, as otherwise any future updates to the plugin will overwrite the changes (unless the update includes my changes or similar ones).
