 * I can successfully create/save a backup of my database as the .sql file.
 * The issue that I’m running into is that if I go to a backup and select it to
   restore, yes it removes any data/plugins etc that might have been activated/created
   after that restore point but it does not revert my database back to the saved
   state in the .sql file. However, if I manually go into phpmyadmin and delete
   all the DB entries and upload that saved db file, it does go back to the saved
   tables in the .sql file.
 * Example: Create a DB backup, install then activate Plugin A. Plugin A adds 4
   additional tables to your database. Select your DB backup and click restore.
   Plugin A is no longer activated but all the DB tables it created are still there.
 * Is the plugin supposed to function this way? I’m thinking not. I’m not getting
   any configuration errors all is good there. How can I resolve this if at all?

 * Yes, it is designed this way, backup is like a snapshot.

 * Alrighty. Thanks Lester!
 * So I’ll just have to remember if I’m doing a backup to manually replace the tables
   with the sql file.
