# [Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Just won’t work..

 * I tried and tried and reinstalled I don’t know how many times but this plugin
   simply wouldn’t work properly.
 * All was going well untill I wanted to add products or catagories to my site, 
   a message would come up saying my product was not added.
    I tried giving 777 
   permissions to everything that didn’t work I searched and searched for answers
   but could never get a solution to this problem.
 * It also gave me errors when I selected paypal in the payment settings section
   and I’m sure there are tables missing in the databse!
 * Great looking plug in…..would be nice if it worked.

 * I had a similar problem with my install. WP eCommerce would mess up when it was
   trying to write to my MySQL database.
 * I went into phpMyAdmin, found the entry “wp_product_list” and deleted all of 
   the messed up entries.
 * I went back into WP eCommerce and voila! Everything worked pretty well (until
   the next problem).
 * One thing that can really help is to provide your wordpress install with the 
   full path to your “Uploads” folder. There is a post on the instinct forums about
   problems with uploading product images because of this.

 * Got it working!!!
 * And I must say it’s a great plug in, thank you guys for this.
 * I installed my shop locally and got it working changing all the permission etc,
   then uploaded it to my live site where it worked like a gem.
