# [Plugin: WP Easy Post Types] Media Issue

 * Im having an weird image/media management issue that I just cant figure out.
 * The issue is that whenever I click the “Upload/Insert” “add Image” button, and
   choose the Media Library tab, it doesn’t list any of the 200+ images that I’ve
   uploaded in the past.
 * If I click the “star” “add Media” button, and then choose the Media Library tab
   it shows all of my images.
 * Im guessing it has something to do with how the image file type is referenced
   in the DB.
 * As for trouble shooting, I deactivated all my other plugins, and uploaded a clean
   functions.php file. Still nothing.
 * any ideas?

 * I was able to “fix” the problem I was having. I say “fix” however I really dont
   know why the issue happened/happening.
 * After hours of trial and error, I was able to narrow down the issue to a simple
   checkbox.
 * In one of my Custom Post Types, I have a Category titled “Type”. If I uncheck
   the “Searchable” check box, I am able to see all of my media again.
 * I have no idea why… but it works.
 * I imagine it has something to do with the category/system key being called type,
   and how it related to the search functions of wordpress.
