 * After installing and activating plugin, nothing happens. I can’t find any way
to change settings for the plugin. Even the Settings link on the plugin page
doesn’t seem to do anything. Has anyone had a similar issue? I’d really like
   to use this plugin.

 * go on the plugin list in backend of wp; klick the settings – link on the this
plugin; the settings is included the plugin page, not an extra page for less
   pages.

 * I too have just seen the behaviour that the OP reported.
 * What I was able to find was that the Settings link for WP Maintenance Mode did
NOT function, if the [WP Live Activity Streaming](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/activity-life-stream/)
plugin was activated at the same time.
 * If I disable WP Live Activity Streaming plugin, I am able to access the settings
   for WP Maintenance Mode.
 * Thanks for the plugin 🙂

 * I am using this plugin for at least one and a half years. As you already know,
I am activating it rarely, when I really have to take the site offline. Today
I had to put site in maintenance and after enabling the plugin (as usual) I can’t
access “Settings” for it. When I click, nothing happens [javascript:void(0)].
Is this a bug, but I have the same WordPress version and nothing changed since
   I last successfully used it.

 * `javascript:void(0)` is right; but maybe you have change the cache or a other
plugin have a error for javascript. You can see this in the console, like in
Webinspector of Chrome or Firebug; right bottom is a red error icon, if you have
a js error and click on this icon and you cna read the error.

 * Thank you for the quick reply but it seems that I can’t find the problem here.
I used Chrome to see if any error occurs but there is not a single one. I tried
disabling all the installed plugins and letting just “Wp Maintenance”. No use.
I tried to access the “Settings” on 3 different computers all with different
operating systems and different java installed. Nothing helped.
    Any idea?
 * Note: This could be avoided if the plugin had a separate page for “Settings”.

 * The not is on my issues, but I dont find the time for this.
 * If you have deactivate all plugins and clear the cache, then please change the
theme to a default theme, like TwentyEleven. Maybe you have a js error from theme.
Important is, the plugin use jQuery as JS lib, but there is inside the core and
the plugin include this js about the default ways.

 * Thank you for your reply, Frank.
Nothing helped, so I just changed to another
plugin. Problem solved. I liked your plugin but sometimes life is strange.
 * Thanks for your time.
