 * As the [“WordPress MU Domain Mapping”-plugin](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/installation/)
doesn’t permit installations on shared hosting (with other folder structure than
root), I’m trying to get the [“WP Multi Network”-plugin](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-multi-network/)
   to work.
 * Does anyone know how this (the latter) works? What should I put in the different
   fields of the network settings?
 * Due to his use of terminology, I’m aswell wondering if this at all can do simple
   domain mapping?

 * The network plugin isn’t for simple domain mapping.
 * The other domain mapping has certain expectations on how your server is set up.
It *can* be used on a shared host, and I have mapped domains on installs where
it’s not in the root, but it’s difficult due to limitations on the host end,
   not the plugin itself.
 * you have to figure out how to park or point your mapped domain to the folder
   your mu install is in.

 * Thanks a lot for the hint.
 * I actually got the “other” plugin (“WordPress MU Domain Mapping”) to work just
fine with the exception of a tiny detail:
 * I don’t seem to be able to log in to my newly created websites…. Neither with
the administrator user for the “parent” site, nor with any newly created user.
But I can access the front of the newly created websites without problem..
