# [Plugin: WP phpBB Bridge] Logged out when accessing WP admin

 * This plugin worked perfectly up until we switched from standard http to https.
   Now when we log in, that’s fine, but if you try and go to site.com/wp-admin/ 
   it brings you to the logged out page. I’ve tried everything I can think of but
   I can’t figure out where to start debugging. I’ve noticed in the forums I’m not
   the only person to have this problem. I don’t have to remove the plugin, I just
   need to turn off the bridge (through mysql). phpBB works fine in full SSL mode
   and so does WP. I’m open to suggestions. the site is [http://www.sfcfleet.com](http://www.sfcfleet.com)
   and yes, phpBB is in a subfolder of WP.

    /var/www/forums <- phpBB
 * Again it did work perfectly fine before switching everything over to https.

 * Randomly tried a security setting in phpBB and it solved the problem.
 * Validate Referer:
    If enabled, the referer of POST requests will be checked against
   the host/script path settings. This may cause issues with boards using several
   domains and or external logins.
 * I set that from “Only validate host” to “None” and now it works perfectly again.
   I’m happy.

 * Nope.. not sure what it is.. but that didn’t fix it. Worked for a bit and then
   stopped… Strange.
