# [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Compression Fails Randomly, Serving Garbage

 * Picking this up from a “me too” post earlier. I was hoping this was a general
   issue where someone would say “you need to flip _switch x_ and magic will happen.”
   Sadly it looks like this issue is less clear than that. I normally have compression
   enabled in Wp Super Cache. Recently (last month or so) I’ve started to get pages
   showing up like this:

    J>  �ÌG͞?�����P��7+20��� ľ�:�(� ! ��� �3O�v���L��x���f�
   f�Ǚ���X�U�R��2���q�Í��t�� |g��X�/ “
 * Turning off compression fixes it. I really want to turn compression back on, 
   so I’d love to resolve this.
 * Any idea what might be going on?
 * I upgrade dutifully, so I’m latest and greatest with both WP and the plugin.
