# [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Database error

 * Hi,
 * I was using supercache before and it worked very well. Since today I moved to
   a new server and cache does not work anymore.
    When I add the line define(‘WP_CACHE’,
   true); in my wp-config I instantly get a “Can not connect to database error”.
   I have no idea where it comes from? The only thing changed on this server is 
   Xcache instead of Eaccelarator. Any ideas where to start?

 * The error message is: Error establishing a database connection
 * When I add the line define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); and set the plugin to OFF it also
   works. Half and On is giving the errors.

 * Make sure MySQL is set up correctly on your new host. The supercache plugin wouldn’t
   cause this problem.
