Since moving to a new one, WP SuperCache plugin stopped working. I tried everything that is in the troubleshooting section, I tried disabling all other plugins etc. * I also did a fresh new install of WP, installed SUperCache and it’s still not working. The msg I get on the bottom of the site source code is * * My server needs to be rebooted at least once a day because of using toomuch resources, so I really need to get the plugin working. It makes it easier to see the HTML but let’s go around that. * Do you have two browsers installed? For example, Firefox and Internet Explorer? I’m asking because I’d like you to do the following: * 1. Clear out the cache, cookies, and browsing history on both browsers. * 2. Login via Firefox to your blog and delete the cache from the WP Super Cache admin page. * 3. Now in Firefox view your blog posts. * 4. Look at your wp-content/cache directory with the command line `ls -lt | more` and check that new wp-cache-* files are being created with a time stamp around now. * 5. Now in Internet Explorer go to the blog. Don’t log in, just act like any plain user. * 6. Look at a post in Internet Explorer and then reload it again with CTRL-F5. * 7. In Internet Explorer view the source of that page and let us know if you see any `` comments. * 8. See if any static HTML is in wp-content/cache/supercache. You can see that in UNIX via going to the wp-content/cache directory and running this command ` find . -type f` * It’s a lot but this is just to see if the files are being created. * If they are but you are not seeing the files, can you check that your .htaccess is updated and that you are using fancy permalinks?
