# [Plugin: WP Super Cache] Not generating cache files

 * Hi,
    I have installed and configured wp super cache on my website. Every thing
   went something but the plugin is not generating any cache file. I can’t see any
   error or sign which tells gives me further information to investigate. Please
   help me on this.
 * Here is wp cache stats
 * Cache Contents
 * WP-Cache (0KB)
 *  * 0 Cached Pages
    * 0 Expired Pages
 * WP-Super-Cache (0KB)
 *  * 0 Cached Pages
    * 0 Expired Pages
 * List all cached files
 * Expired files are files older than 10800 seconds. They are still used by the 
   plugin and are deleted periodically.

 * I once had this problem, it turned out that my footer.php had incorrectly closed
   ending php or htlm (I forgot) tags.
 * Fixing the footer (and making sure it includes the footer() code, other plugins
   will need it anyway !) solved the problem for me, the caching finally worked.

   faq and it appears everything is OK on my website.
 * I have enabled log level 5 and here is the result

   caching POST request. 14:54:53 /wp-content/themes/mytheme/style.php No wp-cache
   file exists. Must generate a new one. 14:54:53 /wp-content/themes/mytheme/style.
   php In WP Cache Phase 2 14:54:53 /wp-content/themes/mytheme/style.php Setting
   up WordPress actions 14:54:53 /wp-content/themes/mytheme/style.php Not caching
   POST request. 14:54:54 /category2/page/4?nomo=true No wp-cache file exists. Must
   generate a new one.

 * For some reason the $_POST super array is being populated on your server by something.
   The plugin doesn’t cache POST requests because those requests are usually the
   result of submitting a form.

 * its weird, but the main page should be cached don’t you think so?
