 * My client gets an auteur account for the website I’m making, and I want him to
   update the table.
    All he needs is the Table Contents panel, how can I remove
   the other panels only for him?

 * Hi,
 * unfortunately, you can’t.
    In the “Plugin Options”, you can set which role is
   necessary to access the plugin (and with that add, edit, delete, import or export
   tables), and in a separate setting, which role is necessary to change plugin
   options and settings. A more fine tunes control is not possible. Either someone
   can access the plugin, or can not. And if he can access the plugin, either he
   can additionally change plugin options, or he can not, all depending on his user
   role.
 * Best wishes,
    Tobias

 * Hi Tobias,
 * Yes I already found the option to change the permission for the plugin options,
   thanks anyway.
 * Maybe it’s a good idea for a next update?

 * Hi,
 * thanks for the feedback!
 * Unfortunately, this is totally not easy to implement in the current structure
   of the plugin, so it really won’t be in the next update, even if I wanted to
   🙂 Something like this is not even included in WordPress (as so that it satisfied
   everybody). There’s a lot of promising work going on however, with the capability
   system, so maybe I can incorporate that into the plugin in the future.
 * Best wishes,
    Tobias

 * Maybe you didn’t understand my question. Because this option is included in WordPress.

   When you’re for instance on the Dashboard there’s a ‘Screen Options’ tab on the
   top right. Here you can choose to display or hide certain panels.

 * Hi,
 * oh, ok. This is what you mean 🙂 Yeah, I guess I did get you wrong. Sorry.
 * Unfortunately, this is also not possible at the moment. I have plans to implement
   this feature, but a few unwise decisions back when I started the development
   of the plugins hinder me to do so, because they make the process much more complicated.
   For example, the part of the plugin that saves the table data after it has been
   edited expects all fields on the “Edit” screen to have values upon the form transmission,
   but this is not guaranteed, if certain sections are hidden.
 * But hopefully I can find a nice solution for this without the need of a complete
   restructuring of the plugin in the future…
 * Regards,
    Tobias

 * Ok I understand your problem. I’m not that technical but maybe you could use
   the same technique as your doing right now with the Hide option on the right
   side of every panel.
 * Thanks for your fast answers, you offer great support 🙂
