# [Plugin: WP to Twitter] Response code "0"

 * WP -> Twitter has been tweeting successfully for a long time. Upgrade to 2.3.8
   and no longer works. down grade to 2.3.2 doesn’t work either.
    I know 2.3.2 &
   2.3.4 both worked before.
 * Now get this error both new and old versions:
    # WP to Twitter failed to submit
   an update to Twitter. # Code 0: Twitter did not return a recognized response 
   code.
 * May be an issue w/Twitter? what else can I check?

 * For me the same, i als o get the status code 0. Bit.ly links are being made, 
   so the plugin works. Probably a chgange in the twitter service becuz on sep 1
   it worked, but not on sep 2 and later

 * Are either of you on Bluehost? Bluehost has a known issue with Twitter blocking
   some of their shared IP blocks at the moment. “Code 0” means that the query isn’t
   successfully reaching Twitter, so Twitter is not returning any response — this
   is a common issue if your host is being blocked by Twitter.

 * yep, BlueHost it is. Actually had tweet get through this AM and then locked up
   again. thanks for the meaning of “Code 0”
    How do you know/where do you go to
   ascertain the blocks by twitter?

 * Bluehost support is working to fix it, now they are waiting to Twitter unblock
   their IP’s.

 * I am also having this issue. I use Godaddy. Clicking on the tweet link at the
   bottom of the post returns a timeout error in my browser. Unless doing this puts
   godaddy servers in between me and twitter, its possible something is broken with
   the api.

 * I have an account on Bluehost and the problem is fixed, twitter unblocked their
   IP’s 2 days ago.

 * Just reset the error messages in WP-Twitter and tested
    Everything’s working 
   again
