 * Can you confirm this plug in works with older versions of IE? Users are telling
   me that it does not appear on certain versions like IE8 etc.

 * I can’t confirm that it works with older versions of IE… the styling of the box
   uses a lot of CSS3, which obviously wouldn’t work.. as to the functionality, 
   it *should* work, but it hasn’t been tested. It’s on the roadmap to include a
   function to regress to a standard search box in older browsers, but this hasn’t
   been implemented yet.
 * I’ll try and post here once we reach the 1.0 release and we’ve had time to do
   that kind of stability testing.
