# Plugin wp_xmlgooglemaps – doesn’t totally uninstall !!!

 * Hi !
 * I’ve tried the plugin “[wp_xmlgooglemaps](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wp_xmlgooglemaps-doesnt-totally-uninstall/wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xml-google-maps/?output_format=md)”
   a while ago and decided finally to deactivate and remove it.
    But while I worked
   with PHPmyAdmin, I realized that some tables and data still remained in the database
   🙁 I “googled” a little and found other users also complaining about that. Maybe
   this could be improved in the future.

 * Totally agreed. There are several plugins that don’t thoroughly uninstall from
   the database. I just spent the last 20 minutes dropping 50 (yes… 50) unused tables
   from the database left there from plugins I’d deactivated and deleted ages ago.
