# Plugin you’re referencing does not exist

 * Hello. I am trying to rollback a plugin (Media Library Assistant) from v2.4 to
   v2.33, but I am getting an error:
 * `Plugin you’re referencing does not exist.`
 * How can I resolve this?
 * I saw in [another post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-youre-referencing-does-not-exist/)
   you said:

 * My host *does* require an FTP password during the plugn install process. And 
   indeed, when I try to carry out the roll back, I am prompted to enter my password
   in the same way. But in this case, when I enter the correct password, I encounter
   the error.

 * Hi there,
 * Which host are you using? We’d need to replicate the issue in order to understand
   it properly and potentially find a fix. The problem is that every host can implement
   those types of changes in different ways which we can’t anticipate or account
   for.
 * But let me know and we’ll dig into it. THanks!
