 * I just thought I would let you know that your plugin breaks a sites “full text”
RSS Feed. The full feed becomes invalid when using your plugin with the error:
   This feed does not validate.
 * line 1, column 0: XML parsing error: <unknown>:1:0: no element found

 * I’m not seeing this occurring.
 * If you run the site in question against [https://validator.w3.org/feed/](https://validator.w3.org/feed/)
   it shows the same thing?
 * If you turn off External Links, it then validates (assuming it didn’t above)?
 * What are your External Link settings? If Apply Globally is checked can you uncheck
   and test it again?
 * It is also possible there is a conflict with another plugin. The Apply Globally
should be telling if it passes with it off and fails with it on.

 * Yes, when the Reading Settings are set to “full text” you get the error above.
When it is set to “Summary” you do not get the error and the feed validates.
 * It took me a full day to figure out what was causing this problem, so I deactivated
all plugins and re-activated one-by-one and External Links was the one causing
   the problem.
 * If “Apply Globally” is un-checked, the feed validates. When checked, it does
   not validate.

 * What is your thesis statement? I think most plugins probably have been created
in some fashion. It depends on what problem the plugin is attempting to solve.
