Plugins don’t work in pages

Two plugins I want to use ( LinksPage and SpreadShop) needs a special tag in a page like <!–linksdropdown–> resp. <!–spreadshop–>) to display their content.

I have include both links in a new page, but both pages are empty that means neither the desired content is shown nor the tags I mentioned are displayed (when I include some text to the pages this text is displayed).

Has someone an idea how this can be solved? Do I need a special page template or what should the default template must contain? There are no special requirements concerning the plugins (just no normal new / empty page).

My theme is Hemingway.

Any ideas?
