 * Almost any plugin that I try to activate either doesn’t work at all or can’t
be configured or some other issue. Not sure if it’s related but previewing a
theme usually shows up blank but then works when activated. I checked file and
folder CHMOD permissions for the plugins and they looked alright at 644 and 755
   respectively.
 * It’s a clean 2.7 install (no previous version). The only thing I copied over
from a previous version and another domain I manage is a theme I edited (image
changes mainly) and the unzipped themes and plugins. I then installed them through
the Dashboard. Because of the problems encountered I also tried deleting the
plugin(s) or themes and reinstalled with the same results/problems.
 * I really need the Evermore plugin to work (it puts <- more -> link after a variable
number of paragraphs. I tried to contact the author with no luck yet. So if I
can’t get this evermore plugin going does anyone know how I can manually do the
   same thing?
 * Thanks in advance for any help.

 * What exactly is this variable after which the <-more-> link is inserted?
 * Couldn’t you just insert it manually where you think is appropriate?

 * I guess I can do that but what is the code? I think I tried something but it
did something weird, I don’t remember.
 * Do you have any idea about the plugins not working? I have another important
one that adds the title to the URL.
 * Thanks for answering and sorry for my tardy reply.
