 * I was wondering what I should look for to ensure an plugin will work on all templates
   I install. I’ve been playing around with a World of Warcraft plugin called ItemStats
   and have it working just fine on the default skin. When installing a new, darker
   skin however; it just disappears.
 * Any suggestions?

 * disappearing doesnt neccessarily mean the plugin isnt compatable (especially
   in this instance). It means you need to edit the colors most likely.
 * I’ll bet if you look at your source, the output IS there.
 * a WoW plugin inst going to be work or not work depending on what theme you are
   using. Thats a “3rd party plugin”, they typically couldn’t care less what theme
   you are using.
 * Suggestions: sure, get acquainted with CSS, look at your source, see what the
   plugin is outputting, see if it’s adding CSS to your site. If it is, edit it,
   inside the plugin, or through whatever is responsible for the colors (external
   stylesheet, whatever).
 * Rocketscience this isnt.

 * Actually, I know for a fact it DOES not work on a skin I installed.
 * I’m quite familar with CSS, and i’m pretty confident that isn’t the issue.
 * Example:
    [http://www.deadwindpass.com](http://www.deadwindpass.com)
 * The modification is simple. It’ll parse anything in [item][/item] and create
   a rollover effect with information taken from another website. It parses the [
   item] bbcode sort of, but doesn’t call the information. Not to mention my [itemico]
   tag doesn’t show up whatsoever.
 * Thanks,
    Andrew
