 * I just set up a new website, I am hosting on Blue Host. Pods is the first thing
   I am setting up (after I did my branding) so i don’t have to worry about extra
   plugins causing issues at this point.
 * I created a new post type (named ‘products’) and started creating the fields.
   Everything was going fine, I had about 6 fields created when I clicked “Save
   Pod”, the little circle spun and spun and eventually I got a message that said“
   Error: Unable to process request, please try again.”
 * When I refreshed only 2 fields remained.
 * So I started again, this time clicking “Save Pod” after I created each now field.
   Everything was going smoothly, I got to 8 fields this time, and suddenly it didn’t
   save again, I got the same message and was down to 0 fields.
 * I don’t even know here to begin looking, sometimes it saves and sometimes it
   doesn’t. But more importantly, when it doesn’t save it erases previous saves
   so I have to start all over.
 * This is getting very frustrating.

 * In Pods Admin > Settings, can you reply with what the Memory Limit is currently
   set to?

 * You should allocate more memory than that to PHP. See [this codex entry](http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP)
   for more information.

 * Thank you again Josh and Scott!
 * This worked and I am up and running 🙂

 * I’m having the same problem. I’ve increased memory limit to 256M (confirmed on
   the admin->settings page) but still unable to save even a simple test pod with
   a single plain text field. Server error log says “error: Exception thrown without
   a stack frame in Unknown on line 0”. This is a fresh WordPress 4.1 install. Tried
   uninstalling and re-installing Pods plugin with no change. Any other suggestions
   on how to debug? Here are other system specs:
 * WordPress 4.1
    PHP 5.3.3 MySQL 5.1.73 WP Memory Limit: 256M

 * [@steevithak](https://wordpress.org/support/users/steevithak/) Please open a
   new forum topic, this one has been resolved. Your issue may likely be something
   unrelated. Please also include the Pods version you’re using in the new post.
 * Feel free to link to this post too, if you want to mention it.

 * No need. It took several hours but I found the problem. It turned out to be operator
   error concealed by a faulty Pods error message. The Pods error message “Error:
   Unable to process request, please try again.” apparently should read “Error:
   You have used a reserve word as a field name”! 🙂

 * We definitely want to fix anything that may be faulty here, can you submit the
   issue at [http://pods.io/submit/](http://pods.io/submit/) so we can follow-up?
