Poll cloning issues

When cloning an existing poll, I notice that a couple of things don’t get cloned that I would like to be:

1. The custom template being used
2. The start/end date, which both get reset to 1/1/1970

One thing that does get cloned that I don’t want cloned is the votes for each response. It would be easier for me to replace the text of the responses instead of deleting them and starting again. I know I could click “reset stats” too, but I don’t want to have to do that every time.

A. Could you check to see why cloning polls is losing certain data?
B. Would it be possible to add a general option for, “Don’t clone results”?

Basically I want it to be as easy as possible to create a new poll based off an existing template.
