# polluted db / doesn’t work

 * I’ve been using this plugin happily for years on many websites so I’m sad to 
   be writing a bad review… I’m doing maintenance on a site that has been using 
   the plugin for a while and was recently migrated. The plugin wasn’t working, 
   site scan took <1sec and didn’t produce any result, but gave no error message.
   I uninstalled the plugin, noticed it left many itsec_ fields in the database,
   which should have been removed, reinstalled the plugin. Now I’m getting a setup
   screen, and the plugin is completely unresponsive at the first prompt (“Enable
   Security Check Pro?”), whether I enable it or not. Really sloppy job there…

 * Definitely would love to help out here. Have you opened a support request on 
   this issue? Our team is more than happy to get to the bottom of whatever problems
   you are having.
 * The transition from a really old iThemes Security version to the newest Solid
   Security versions might encounter some hiccups, but we have had a ton of success
   working through any issues with folks.
 * Let me know if you’d like help getting to the bottom of it.
