 * I installed Polylang (free version) on a 30 pages website built with Elementor
   Pro + Elementor Hello Theme, to translate it in a second language (first one
   is EN). WordPress, theme and all plugins updated to the latest versions.
 * When I try to edit new created pages for the second language the editor stucks
   on loading and asks for safe mode.
 * The original English pages load on edit mode without problem.
 * As I searched the internet for a solution I came up with several people having
   the exact same problem, but no solution whatsoever.
 * Elementor claims that the problem is in Polylang – I confirm that alll editing
   problems started after Polylang Plugin installation, I tested all other plugins
   one by one and had no issues.
 * Can you please help?
 * I believe this resolution concerns many people out there.

 * Same problem with polylang
   When activating the Polylang plugin, certain blocks
   made in Elementor are no longer displayed [https://prnt.sc/CH3OUgswOZcL](https://prnt.sc/CH3OUgswOZcL).
   I received this response from Elementor tech support:Regarding your concern:
   It seems the issue is coming from your Polylang plugin, when it disabled the
   posts loads fine [https://prnt.sc/E88GYc8EQYLB](https://prnt.sc/E88GYc8EQYLB)
   So there could be something wrong with the Post translation.As we have no control
   over coding for third-party plugins nor themes, we highly recommend that you
   report this issue to the support team for this plugin so they may further troubleshoot
   and provide any recommendation (or possible fix) to resolve this issue.

 * I had this same problem. The solution for me was:
   Went to WP Admin > Languages
   > Configurations > URL Modifications
 * Select the option “Language is defined by content”
   Now my elementor works properly.
   I think it’s something related to permalinks configurations, or something like
   that.

 * Thank you zzeime,
 * This solved my issues instantly.
