    i am looking to buy polylang but here is my concern
 * I have created multilingual website with 4 languages in subfolders.
    I used wordpress
   multisite feature from the start
 * example.com/ english version
    example.com/es/ spanish version example.com/fr/
   french version example.com/de/ German version
 * can polylang help insert the hreflang tags between these languages despite the
   fact that i used wordpress multisite feature from the start and not polylang?
 * i also want to insert a language switcher somewhere in the footer or header of
   the site.
    can polylang do that?

 * Polylang is compatible with multisite, but only to get multiple multilingual 
   sites. Very few people need this. However you cannot have one language per site.
   If you prefer to keep one language per site, you must look at other plugins such
   as [https://wordpress.org/plugins/multisite-language-switcher/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/multisite-language-switcher/)
   or [https://wordpress.org/plugins/multilingual-press/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/multilingual-press/)
   which are based on this concept.
