Iā€™m just now testing out polylang as a replacement for WPML which in my opinion has grown into a monster performancewise.. So far the only thing I feel Iā€™m really missing is this feature. * Perhaps you could look at how WPML does it, Iā€™m no expert on domains and DNS etc. but to me it seems that all WPML really does is let you input a domain for each language which it will then redirect all of that languages urls to use. However, for what I have seen, it would be much more complex to support different domains, so it is currently not in my plans. * Although I have access to the last freely available version of WPML (2.0.4.1), I generally donā€™t copy it as I find the code too complex.
