# Polylang permalinks problem

 * The normal behaviour of Polylang is that the option **URL modifications/The language
   is set from content** does not modify the permalinks of the pages (instead of**
   The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks**, which adds
   the language code as a subfolder in the URL).
 * However, the simple activation of Permalink Manager Lite activates the language
   code subfolders, even if the first option is the one that’s selected and not 
   the second one.
 * Is this a bug, or is there something that I’m missing? Precisely I was thinking
   of using Permalink Manager Lite to “trick” Polylang behaviour and set some pages
   with the language code and not others. Doing that with parent pages (en ,es… 
   the language code names) didn’t work for me as it caused some kind of redirection
   loop…

   typo:

 * Could you try to remove the old instance of plugin & install it from a fresh 
   copy?
