 * So it’s just a Google Analytics wrapper that blocks 90% of analytics data behind
   paywall. And in total shows 2 chars and 3 lists on overview tab.
 * How does it have good reviews at all? I just can install GA and get all the same
   data free.

 * Hi [@4lfant](https://wordpress.org/support/users/4lfant/),
 * We appreciate you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. I’m sorry
   about the confusion with using MonsterInsights versus just using Google Analytics.
 * MonsterInsights is a plugin that makes Google Analytics easy to use and easy
   to insert into your WordPress site. If you wanted to just use Google Analytics
   alone you could, but you’d be responsible for inserting your tracking code into
   your WordPress theme, and then if you were wanting to track more than just pageviews,
   you’d need to write and insert additional code to track them.
 * I’m sorry that not all MonsterInsights reports are viewable and instead show
   a notification in our free version, aside from the Overview report. We include
   them to provide as much value as possible to our users by communicating the Pro
   version features because a lot of users aren’t aware of them and can benefit
   greatly.
 * That being said, with our Lite (free) version, you’re able to track and view
   critical site statistics (such as page views in the last 30 days, top posts and
   pages, etc) and automatically track custom events such as telephone, email click
   tracking, affiliate, outbound, or download link tracking. Data for these custom
   events are normally found in the Publishers report, which isn’t available in
   the Lite version, however it can be viewed within your Google Analytics property
   by visiting [analytics.google.com](http://analytics.google.com) directly.
 * We really appreciate you for giving us a try and if you have any suggestions
   for the things you’d like to see in the Lite version, please let me know and
   I’d be happy to share your feedback with the team.
 * And if you’d like more help with using MonsterInsights Lite, please feel welcome
   to reach us at [https://www.monsterinsights.com/lite-support/](https://www.monsterinsights.com/lite-support/)
 * Thank you.
