    Hi,

I’ve created 3 pop ups in my site which are display in 3 different pages. (One pee page). And I’ve done that with this rule: https://imgur.com/a/2yX9mU3.
In the code I see that if I’m in another page, the pop ups actually don’t show: https://imgur.com/a/QxN48dB
So far, so good. The problem is that on those pop ups I have youtube videos and I guess that what the plugin does is to remove the popups with js after the page loads, because youtube scripts are being loaded on those pages: https://imgur.com/a/5aEAPKg
This is a big issue for me because it means in all my website three youtube videos are being loaded, which means a lot of heavy unnecessary scripts are being load in pages where they shouldn’t (More page size, http requests, etc.)

Do you know if there’s a way to avoid this? May be that pop ups doesn’t load at all in other pages, instead of being removed with js.

Any help will be appreciated 😀

    Thanks.

If you are using just page rules the popups shouldn’t load at all.

Can you share the url where you have issues?

    Hi Damian,

Sure, it’s https://solistica.com/en. The pop ups are in the home page of the three languages I have, triggered with the “WATCH OUR VIDEO” button in the top banner.

I’ve notice that if I’m in a page with pop up (home page) it actually only loads one youtube script, which means only loads the right pop up. But if I’m in a page with out pop up, it loads the three youtube scripts from all the pop ups.

If you need any additional information, please let me know. Thanks a lot for your help.

For some reason than page is detected as front page so that’s why you get two popups and then its deleted.
I do recommend changing the front page rule popup for something more specific like page ID.
Then clear your cache and you shouldn’t see the popup again on that page.
