 * this link in internet explorer will show the left sidebar pushed down from it’s
   original spot. I’m not sure why this is. It does the same in Firefox but not 
   nearly as extreme. Any help would be appreciated.

 * I was thinking it was because of the absolute positioning on the container.. 
   but i was wrong. I’m at a loss
