 * Hello Dev. While using this awesome fileaway plugin, I have noticed few bugs
on my installation, but want to make sure if it’s my install issue or it’s release-
   wide.
 * 1) As manager mode, if I create a subdirectory, the folder appears to have been
created on UI, but when I go back to browse via UI, that folder doesn’t show.
Tried to see on ftp, but no actual folder was created. However, if I try to create
that folder again, fileaway gives a popup error indicating that this folder already
   exists.
 * 2) after putting a file in a directory, i have logged in as a test user to download
the file, and a popup comes up indicating “Error” with no other information.
 * When you get a chance, please let me know if this error can be replicated, and/
   or resolved.
 * Thank you so much for the awesome plugin!

 * Sounds to me like your paths are messed up. Is your WordPress installed in a
   subdirectory of the site domain?

 * The fact that it says the directory already exists probably means it has been
created somewhere other than where you think it has. We need to look at your
path structure and how you’ve set it up with File Away.

 * Also, regular download links don’t generate error popups in file away. What does
   your shortcode look like?

 * Hello developer. I’m sorry I had been away for several days over the weekend
and it’s so awesome to see a developer so active with support and it’s not even
paid support. Much kudos to you.
 * Can I go home and look through your comments and get back to you?
 * THank you!

 * Yeah, sure thing. Might be easiest to let me hop on your WordPress backend and
get you straightened out. Either you have a WordPress setup the likes of which
I’ve never before seen, or you’ve configured something incorrectly. Either is
possible. Neither is a big deal. We’ll get you going. It’s not a plugin-wide
bug. Works fine for thousands of users.

 * I am an accountant, and my work hours have been crazy lately for the 10/15 deadline!
Haven’t been able to test recently. Thank you for checking in.
 * I came to test it tonight, and the shortcodes weren’t appearing at all on the
pages. That was weird because it was working before when I had tested it few
   days ago.
 * After including debug=”on” on the shortcodes, there seems to be an issue with
   path to directories.
 * On Basic configuration, using for “Set Root Directory”,
 * Using WP Install directory: the debug displays shortcode is directing to
    l/https:/
   www.mysite.com/base/sub
 * Site Root Directory: the debug displays shortcode is directing to
    l/base/sub
 * The base and sub path was not an issue prior, so I think possibly plugin update
made some changes to my site.
 * As always, thanks for such active support on an awesome plugin.

 * /l (lowercase “L”)
    /https: /www.mysite.com /base /sub
 * those are the hierarchy of directory actually being created, where the first
level directory is uncontrollable by me
level 2 and 3 either exist or not depending
on “wp install dir” or “site root” level 4 based on base directory setting level
5 based on sub path on shortcode.

 * Hi. Could you send screenshots of your Basic Config tab, of your WordPress General
Settings page urls, and your shortcode, to fileaway.plugin at gmail?

 * Also, are there files in the directory you’re pointing to, or just other sub
directories? If no files, it won’t output anything unless directory tree mode
   or manager mode is enabled.

 * ‘Twas a bug. The way your HTTPS plugin was forcing SSL caused File Away’s path
structure to get all messed up. I wasn’t accounting for that. I fixed it on your
install, and the fix will be in the next release. Thanks for providing access!
