# Possible Rest API issues

 * Hi,
 * Our site is on Woo 8.8.3. We use an extension that uses the Rest API. It had 
   been working great until about May 7.
 * I have been trying to figure out what the problem is. I have received many errors
   along the way. Today I received “Invalid URI “xxxxxxxx.com/wp-json/wc/v2/products””
   and the task failed. The product is not imported, and nothing is logged in the
   server’s error logs.
 * Based on the fact that the extension imports and creates a new product using 
   the Rest API, and we eliminated all other possibilities, doesn’t that point to
   an error in the API?
 * I am not a coder and I need the extension for my business. We use it every day.
 * Is my deduction wrong?

   tried changing your end point?
 * Have you checked your Authorization, SSL certificate and made sure it’s valid?
   Tried going to Permalinks and just clicking Save. Firewall. It could be a number
   of things, but I would start there.
 * Also, we’re on V3 now. V2 is an older version

 * The error message “Invalid URI” typically indicates that the URL you’re trying
   to reach is not correct or not accessible.
 * It’s possible that something might have changed in your server configuration 
   or in the API settings that are causing this issue. Since you are using Legacy
   REST API, ensure you’ve installed the [WooCommerce Legacy REST API](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-legacy-rest-api/)
   plugin to make it work fine.
 * Additionally, if you noticed the problem started after you updated the WooCommerce
   Legacy REST API plugin, consider downgrading to a previous version to see if 
   it makes any difference.
 * Furthermore, as you mentioned that you’re not a coder, I would recommend reaching
   out to the developer of the extension you’re using. They might be able to provide
   more insight into what could be causing this issue.
