• Hi.
I’m running a music review site in Korean. As some of you from a non-alphabet cultural background might know, often artists names are written in several languages. (In Korean and English in my case.) So readers might want to type in several keywords (with several orthography, but not typos) for the same artist. It might be a good idea to tag in both in Korean and English, but sometimes that just isn’t enough.

So I’m wondering if it would be possible to hook in search function, to manually add all possible orthographies to redirect the search keyword. For example, when a visitor searches ‘Michael Jackson’ or ‘마이클 잭슨’, my website would show results for ‘Michael Jackson’. (Basically that’s what Google does..) And I can make a long list of all the artist names.

Will it be possible? It yes, where do I have to include the replacement codes? Many thanks in advance.

If the example above is not very clear, you can think of :
a visitor searches “Jackson 5”, “Jackson Five”, “잭슨파이브” or “잭슨5”
and they would get the search result for “Jackson 5”.
