# Possible with wordpress? (Loop)

 * I have some categories and I want to show some more link posts on sidebar when
   a reader is on a single post on single.php
    And as well on a categoey archive
   I want to show 20 post links from that category on sidebar. Thanks 🙂

 * Yes. Certainly possible. You have two options. Either custom code a sidebar using
   php, or use widgets and plugins.
 * The first way is a bit more complex and hard to explain on a foru, but the other
   option can use a plugin that adds a widget that shows recent posts from a specific
   category: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-recent-posts-from-category/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-recent-posts-from-category/)
 * Then you will want to use a plugin to only show specific widgets on certain pages
   or posts. Jetpack has this built in: [http://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/](http://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/)

   easier.
