# Post Gone Missing

 * We had accidentally published a post before editing, so we made it private and
   also converted it to a page as opposed to a post so it wouldn’t be visible or
   accidentally published again. Now, we cannot find it in WordPress admin to edit
   it or republish it. Please help!

 * At worst, if the content if this post is so important, do you have phpmyadmin?
 * You could search for this in phpmyadmin. Open the database of the blog. In the
   left column click wp_posts. Right window: click the Search tab. In the part about
   post_title type those two words: ingrown toenails. Hit Enter or click to Execute
   at the bottom of page.
    Your page, if it really still exists, should appear in
   there, and you could click to modify it, to view the post_contents, the inside
   of the post, that you can copy-paste to another post in your blog editor.
