 * What I type and post in my WP Post when I hit publish is not the same as what
   shows up in my blog for people to read. The words and paragraphs are scrambled,
   etc. I don’t know if this is a WP problem or theme issue. Contacting both.

 * Hi [birdbybird](https://wordpress.org/support/users/birdbybird/),
   It can be frustrating
   when your published content appears differently than you intended. Some reasons
   for scrambled text and formatting issues could be due to Browser Cache or plugin
   conflicts. To fix this issue, you can try the following steps: 1. Clear your
   browser cache to ensure you view the latest version of your posts. Sometimes,
   cached versions can cause display issues. 2. Temporarily uninstall all plugins
   and check if the problem persists. If not, you can enable each plugin one by
   one to identify which one is causing the issue. 3. Switch to a default WordPress
   theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) temporarily. If the problem persists, it may not
   be related to the theme. 4. If you use the block editor, try switching to the
   classic editor or vice versa. Some themes might have compatibility issues with
   a specific editor. Try these steps and let me know how it goes. If you need further
   assistance, feel free to ask.Regards,Aniekan

 * Thank you, Aniekan! I didn’t have to go beyond Step 2. Deactivated the most likely
   plugin culprit first and that was the one! Really appreciate you taking the time
   to help. Wish my theme support was as helpful!

 * Hi again, Aniekan
 * Well, I’m back to square one and now even more confused. When I did my deactivating
   the plugin that I thought was the issue, and then everything published correctly,
   I was using my staging site. I thought it was best to troubleshoot from the staging
   site first.
 * Unfortunately, when I went to my live site and did the same steps, it didn’t
   work. I then proceeded from my live site to deactivate each plugin. The problem
   is still the same. My WP Post is not publishing correctly to my theme. My theme
   is Astra and I use Elementor page builder. This is the first time one of my blogs
   has not published correctly.
 * I got so excited when it all looked great on my staging site. I assumed things
   would go the same on the live site.
 * I wish Astra support was better and could figure this out.
 * Do you have anymore ideas? Or thoughts?
 * I haven’t tried switching to a WP default theme cause I would have to set up
   the same scenario, I assume. And concerned about damaging my site further in
   the switch. Not sure how all that works.
 * My next step may be to completely redo my blog page. Hate the thought of that.

 * Hi, [birdbybird](https://wordpress.org/support/users/birdbybird/),
   I get you’re
   still experiencing the same issue on your site.This seems like a cache issue.
   Clear the cache on both your site and your browser. If you have any caching plugins,
   try disabling them temporarily.Alternatively, Enabling WP_DEBUG mode can provide
   further information on publishing issues that might explain what’s going wrong.
   Check this [guide](https://wpforms.com/developers/how-to-enable-debugging-in-wordpress/)
   Let me know how it goes.
