# Post-specific sidebar?

 * Can we change the contents of the sidebar, depending on the post? Or is there
   a plug-in for this?
 * For example, if one post is about German shepherds, then I’d like to have links
   of resources on the sidebar about that breed.
 * If another post is about Dalmatians, or birds, then I’d like to specify a different
   set of links in the sidebar.

 * You can – if you do NOT use the widgets.
    Then you can use the [Conditional_Tags](http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags)
   to display different content based on category, for example. I assume “German
   shepherd” would be a category…

 * I just found this PHP Code Widget by Otto. It allows a conditional php tag to
   execute, allowing me to select specific pages.
