# Post status draft

 * Hello,
 * Your plugin looks nice and has a lot of (useful) features.
 * One of them is the ability to set the post (generated by an email) to draft (
   or pending) and not publish it right away. It seems that the selected post status
   does not work. Whatever is selected (I just tried draft and pending) the post
   is published.
 * Can you confirm this or do I need to setup something else where in order to set
   email generated posts to draft?

 * I’m not having any issue specifying the post status in the email [http://postieplugin.com/faq/override-post-status/](http://postieplugin.com/faq/override-post-status/)
 * or via the “default post status” setting.
 * Can you tell me more about your situation? What version of Postie?
 * Can you post the results of clicking the debug button when an email is waiting
   or alternatively use the Support AddOn which places the logs in the media library.
