Post Type Not Removed

    Hi All,

    I deleted all the taxonomy terms, permanently trashed all the posts, then deleted both the taxonomy registration and the post type registration in that order. They will not disappear from the sidebar. When I deactivate the plugin they persist in the sidebar. Does anyone have any recommendations? I cleared all the server caches. I am seeing this issue on my local site, the staging site, and the live server.

    Hi @jlwilz

    Is it possible these were content types that were previously registered via your theme or a different plugin? The site could have previous registration code that is still being used.

    If you’re not seeing anything shown at https://YOURDOMAIN.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=cptui_listings then there’s nothing being registered by CPTUI as that admin page reads from the two settings we register for this.

    Hey,

    Thanks for the quick response, I searched the entire theme for any kind of post-registration to begin with and when I found nothing I went looking at the plugins that could have possibly registered it. The Custom Post Type UI plugin is where I found the two taxonomies and post type registered. I don’t see any registration at the URL you linked above, but I don’t see anywhere else where the post type is being registered.

    UPDATE:

    As a test on my local environment, I disabled all the plugins and swapped to the WP 2024 theme and I am still seeing the post type registered in the sidebar which is super strange.

    Checked any mu-plugin folder files?
